Are you financially prepared for tomorrow?
Do you have alternative cash-flow streams coming into your household?
What would happen if some sort of disaster struck your area; hurricane, earthquake, flood?
What about the ever possible PINK SLIP and downsizing? If you were laid off tomorrow, do you have a Plan B? What about a Plan C?
In this interactive CD Ray Gano and Wilfred Hahn lecture on many issues we are facing today and how to prepare ourselves, so when that day comes, we are able to stand.

Today's Promise: For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. |

Not going to college.
When I was young, I thought I wanted to be one thing.. and it didn't require college.. and never worked out.
Oh well...
Lots of regrets but I have to go along with Dave and say I wish I had taken my mother's advice and finished college (I return now and I am old and gray...) but also (downer alert) I wish I had taken a lock of hair from my hubby when he died and was cremated. To DESPERADOS at the time to even think of it. :(
Ohhhhhhhh, no you don't. Not in cyberspace. Not even incognito.
You'll just have to use your imagination.
I have 2. 1: Not taking a job I was offered at a school specifically geared toward second language learners. It woulld've given me the "foot in the door" so to speak. 2: Letting too much time stop me from reconnecting with an old friend. In 2003 it became too late. She died.
I've gotten to the point in my life that I can look at most of my mistakes and see how I've learned and become better from them. Yeah, I'm perfect, aren't you? Snort. But honestly, I think that most of my mistakes have been experiences that I've really used to grow and become stronger.
That being said, I honestly and truly regret this Thanksgiving where I got drunk and had meaningless sex with a friend. It wasn't even good meaningless sex. It was just a stupid thing and wrong, and I regret it.
As far as what I've learned from it... never let a guy mix your drinks at a party. ;)
Great blog, Nic, and thanks for calling my writing an auto-buy! Maybe someday I'll actually have something published so people CAN buy it, LOL!
Nic - I can honestly say I don't have regrets, I have things I wouldn't do again (like enlisting), but no regrets. I believe that each and every thing I've done, brought me to the spot I'm in today. I may not live in 'perfect', it's not that bad a spot!!
My biggest regret is today's post. Oh boy am I going to pay for this. ;)

I am now old enough to realize what I am now is the sum of all that came before. And even though I have had more than my share of pain and heartbreak, and made my share of mistakes, since I am very happy with my life now.... I have NO regrets.
