HDQ/Ask Nic

My oh my. What a difference a day makes (and a different pair of contacts). I'm beginning to wonder if the other pair they gave me yesterday was a spoof b/c even though the contacts are the same strength – yesterday’s pair were just AWFUL(!!!!!!) and today’s pair are perfect. I mean the difference is night and day. Now all I need are the new glasses and I’ll be fine until next year. I am done procrastinating b/c it’s kind of a shock to see how much the eyes have changed without the new prescriptions to keep up with the change. I just might have to invest in LASIK before my vision gets worse.

OK – now for the HDQ – the staple of the Wednesday post. For those of you who are new here, the HDQ is the Humpy Day Question (being that Wednesday is the hump of the week to get over before the downhill slide to the weekend).

HDQ/Ask Nic:

What is your favorite (silly, serious, easy, difficult…) question to ask people when you want to know something about them?

This week I am combining the HDQ/Ask Nic Q&A so when you post your question that you would ask someone I will go ahead and answer it as part of the Ask Nic session.

I can’t wait to see what questions y’all ask others in an attempt to know more about them!

hey girl...thanks for stopping by! it's always a delight to "see" you!

one "story" i like to know about others is how they got saved - when Jesus became "real" to them and they knew they wanted to be a Christian. Not just to be called by His Name, but to serve Him, adore Him, praise Him.

She took my question! How about answering what was your favorite cartoon when you were little? Or what about your favorite game when you were a kid?

"so, how did you happen to end up in Texas?" (or wherever) (if they aren't from there, that is!!)

"so, what can you usually be found doing if you aren't working or sleeping?"

"what is one thing about you that you don't think I would ever be able guess?"

i always like to ask if a person is involved with somebody romantically -- whether if he or she is married or with a boyfriend / girlfriend, especially when they are new to my cell group. I feel like i could better understand a person's issues or concerns once i've determined how their love life is. haha! weird? maybe. But it works for me :-)
See you at Thankful thursday!

Good Morning Nic! My question is not very complicated or involved. I usually ask where they are from or where they grew up. To me it seems some things are characteristic of certains areas of the country.

Thanks for coming by. Have a blessed day in the Lord!

Darn, I'm late! Still taking questions? Here goes... after a rough couple of years, what is your ideal man like? And maybe tell me which things are most important to you... caring/honesty, personality, beliefs, looks, habits, children, career ect. Lois Lane

By far the most irritating question I hear on tv is "How do you feel?"

On to you, Nic...what school subjects influenced you most?

Do they still do that now?

Sorry I'm late with this message.
