Church Sign Wisdom - Part One

I did an online search for church sign sayings b/c there are a couple of churches around where I live that usually have eye-catching and thought provoking sayings every week on their signs. I wanted to see just how many were out there. To my surprise there are a plethora of really great church sign sayings. As I started reading them I thought that may of them were just full of good wisdom.

I ended up making a list of the ones I liked the most and decided to share them. There are so many on the list that this is going to be broken up over the next few days. The sayings listed are clever, often thought provoking, witty and truthful. Some of them may sound alike but those that do are variations of the same saying.

Which is your favorite?

1. Give God what's right -- not what's left.
2. Man's way leads to a hopeless end -- God's way leads to an endless hope.
3. A lot of kneeling will keep you in good standing.
4. He who kneels before God can stand before anyone.
5. In the sentence of life, the devil may be a comma--but never let him be the period.
6. Don't put a question mark where God puts a period.
