The Friday Feast, cmhl-style!

In keeping with the Nicole's theme, I am going to attempt the Friday Feast! This, however, is a little too much thinking for early on a Friday morning, so let out a little slack in the tow line, please.. and with that caveat, The Friday Feast!


Appetizer
On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being highest), how funny do you think you are?

I need more information to answer this question. Are we discussing funny ha-ha, or funny strange?
If we are discussing funny ha-ha, I would place myself at about a 7 or so. I frequently insert unusual, inappropriate, and often obscure movie and musical quotes into everyday conversation. Typcially, I am the only one that gets the joke and/or finds my quip funny, which sometimes can make for an awkward social situation.
That brings us to funny-strange; I would rate myself a 9, toeing the line to a 10 in the funny-strange category. I would have remained firmly in the 9 segment, were it not for my fear of public restrooms.

Name a local restaurant you would recommend to a visitor to your town or city.

Hmmmm. Krystal. It is hard to make a wrong choice when you are dining at Krystal-- just have some Tums handy.

What's a lesson you were lucky enough to learn the easy way?

Ironically, nothing immediately comes to mind!
OK, I have one. Don't put your hand down in bowl of a kitchen-aid mixer for any reason when it is running. I learned that one the easy way, after I witnessed my mother get her fingers twisted up into the beater-thing. It wasn't pretty.

Where would you like to be 5 years from now?

I would like to be laying on a beach somewhere tropical, with some sort of pastel slushly drink in my hand with a festive little umbrella...

Today is the 169th anniversary of the birth of cmhl's mother!!
