I feel pretty, oh so pretty

I am one of a small handful of people from my work who are going to the very formal "Governor For A Day" Gala this Saturday. I found out yesterday that I am going for sure. They needed representation and didn't have enough people who could go. Since The Ex has Emily this coming weekend I was available and they asked if I could go...and since they've paid for the ticket for me to go I am looking forward to this - even if I did have to go out and get a formal gown to wear and will have to actually get nails done now. Thanks to David's Bridal i was able to find just the perfect formal dress! It's a strapless, satin, empire-waist dress with rosebud detail and georgette train. Below is a picture of the gown I am wearing (unfortunately they didn't have a picture of the back - which is just gorgeous! It comes with a wrap which will be very useful as it will be in the low 50's that night - possibly lower. I get to play dress-up and feel like a princess! SIGH!
