I am meeting a friend from work that I have never met before but we are in contact almost every day. She is coming in and a bunch of us are going out for dinner after work so this should be a nice break in the way things have been going lately.

 Having a job even though the outcome is uncertain after the company lost the big contract. Several people have left and have "left" already. Even without receiving the child support I'm supposed to be I am making ends meet (barely) by staying on a very strict budget right now. Friends who care. Unexpected moments of laughter that can brighten the soul. The basics of life food, shelter, clothing, living in a peaceful country, freedom. Family without whom I would be lost right now. Being alive and spending time with my daughter - she is the biggest earthly part of what makes this life worthwhile. I live for her smiles, her hugs, her kisses, just her sweet self. I am sorry about the loss of a big contract. But you listed some wonderful things. I did my list for the first time, thought I would jump in. Blessings.
